Job Description

Devire IT Outsourcing is a form of collaboration dedicated to IT professionals, based on the principles of self-employment – ​​B2B – and implementing projects for leading clients pursuing innovative and cutting-edge projects. We are currently seeking a Fullstack Java Developer for our client in the banking industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Write code, deployment scripts, unit tests, check the delivered code and keep track of deliveries on product quality and consistency
  • Decompose technical and functional requests into detailed user stories by interacting with the Product Owner and the Agile team
  • Develop code using software best practices Craftsmanship (such as BDD, TDD, continuous integration, legacy refactoring and Continuous Delivery)
  • Driving continuous improvement in code quality using tools like Sonar and Jenkins
  • Maintain PROD & Non PROD environments
  • Ensure application operations: monitoring, alerting, resiliency, ITRM... with the help of the application manager
  • As a member of a Chapter, contribute to knowledge sharing and growth, ensure alignment with the guidelines and practices
  • Participate to Application support (“You build it, you run it”). Analyze incidents, problems and requests, and co-ordinate with other teams till closure
  • Keep process & documentation up to date

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a position related to Software Engineering
  • Languages: Java (preferably 17+ but not a must, Spring), Javascript (preferably Angular 15+ but not a must)
  • Technologies: SOA, API, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, SQL
  • Understanding of Agile and Project methodologies: Scrum, SAFe, Agile and Waterfall
  • High analytical skills
  • Able to work autonomously, take initiatives and challenge & improve legacy
  • Proficiency in English
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
