As a Fullstack Engineer (Frontend Focus) in Zalando Partner Tech, you will plan, develop, test, and operate our core UX that allows our partners to seamlessly manage their inventory, stocks, and prices, helping them thrive within our business. You will act as a bridge between complex backend logic and an intuitive user interface, taking ownership of features from the database to the pixel.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and scalable frontend systems for partner-facing web applications
Extend backend services and adjust API endpoints as needed to support frontend requirements
Collaborate with product managers to refine requirements and with UX/UI designers to translate complex B2B workflows into intuitive interfaces
Champion best practices in frontend development
Write clean, modular, and testable code
Mentor other engineers on modern UI standards
Participate in the entire product development lifecycle
Take full ownership of features
Proactively identify and solve complex technical challenges
Requirements:
Proven professional experience in web development with a strong command of React and TypeScript
Deep and practical understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and the broader ecosystem of web technologies
Hands-on experience with modern state management libraries (such as Redux, React Query, or Context API)
Proficient in building responsive and performant user interfaces
