Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing solutions, analyzing and gathering requirements, and supporting a compliance-focused global application. Technologies include Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, and Oracle SQL.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for designing and building solutions for a global application within the Compliance group
Support defining and gathering regional requirements
Work closely with the offshore development team to define relevant solution design
Support the testing and implementation of solutions
Apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing and general best practices
Perform Full Software Development Lifecycle, Code reviews, test case reviews
Ensure code meets requirements
Implement user stories end to end with code changes in different layers including UI and backend along with automated unit test cases.

Requirements:

6-8 years of overall development work experience
2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Building scalable Java J2EE RESTful Web service applications with Angular 6+ as UI technology
Experience in Spring/Spring-Boot/Hibernate
Must have worked in Agile methodologies
Experience in writing JUnit and Karma testcases
Experience in Autosys, JIRA, BitBucket/Git, Eclipse, Visual Code
Knowledge of Enterprise Container Service
Proficient with Oracle PL/SQL
Good to have experience in Linux/UNIX environment and scripts
Experience working on parallel development tracks at the same time
Experience in leading/mentoring smaller development teams
Adhere to the SDLC process and ensure others follow the process
Should have root cause analysis skills, able to quickly analyze and interpret code
Must have prior proven experience in coding, development and testing of programs & modules
Angular 6 or above
Spring/Spring-Boot/Hibernate

CSS (Less, Bootstrap)
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

Good to have experience in Linux/UNIX environment and scripts
Banking Domain experience.
