Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. This role focuses on application development utilizing front-end technologies like NodeJS, React, and CSS, with an added advantage if skilled in back-end technologies like Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. The candidate must exhibit strong communication and analytical skills, managing end-to-end projects and mentoring junior team members.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development
Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis
Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues
Recommend advanced programming solutions
Install and assist customer exposure systems
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
Manage end-to-end development of Global application
Application management and hygiene
Address any Risk & Control items
Manage senior stakeholders and communicate effectively
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and operational users
Provide technical and functional expertise to the team
Mentor and coach junior team members
Work proactively to address project requirements
Contribute to design and system architecture.

Requirements:

Strong experience primarily in NodeJS, React, HTML, CSS
Exposure to Spring, microservices, Spring Boot, REST, JSON
Experience with development in agile methodology using TDD/BDD best practices in a continuous integration environment with Junit
Experience in front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, JQuery
Good knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Git/Bitbucket, Maven, SONAR, Jenkins, TeamCity
Experience in Deployment Automation (preferably Urban Code Deploy) is desirable
Working knowledge of containerization solutions (preferably OpenShift and Docker)
High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverables
Strong communication skills and analytical skills.

Nice to have:

Exposure to backend technologies especially in Java
Exposure to Spring Boot and microservices development with good technical abilities
Experience in Deployment Automation (preferably Urban Code Deploy)
Working knowledge of containerization solutions (preferably OpenShift and Docker).
