Job Description

The Fullstack Developer role at NTT DATA Romania involves designing and maintaining backend services using Java and developing frontend applications with Angular. Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java with Quarkus
  • Develop and enhance frontend applications using Angular
  • Deliver end-to-end features across the full stack, from UI to backend services
  • Ensure clean architecture, high code quality, and maintainable solutions
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to cloud-related topics in AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Support integration, testing, and deployment processes
  • Contribute to operational support under strict SLAs in an AWS environment
  • Qualify for operational responsibilities, including participation in an on-call rotation
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation, performance, and reliability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or similar field of study, or equivalent working experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in backend development with Java (Quarkus preferred)
  • Solid frontend development experience with Angular
  • Experience delivering full-stack solutions in distributed system environments
  • Understanding of cloud-native development and modern software engineering practices
  • Willingness to qualify for operational support and participate in on-call rotation
  • Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Very good English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Ability to document solutions clearly and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with LitElements and/or Vue.js is a plus
  • Basic knowledge or practical experience with AWS and Terraform is a plus
  • Experience working in environments with strict SLAs is an advantage
