Job Description:

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD, you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure that the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning, and room cleaning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time
  • Vacuuming carpet and furniture
  • Cleaning and dusting furniture
  • Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites
  • Changing bed linens
  • Cleaning the guest room bathroom
  • Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand COVID-19 cleaning standards
  • Assisting in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry
  • Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized
  • Ensuring the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred
  • The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs
  • The ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • The ability to support any property owned by High Hotels, Ltd. in the Lancaster, PA area
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
