Family Assistant

• Providing attentive, nurturing care for the family's baby throughout the day
• Assisting with before- and after-school care for the older children
• Transitioning to household management responsibilities during baby's naps, independent play, and other downtime
• Preparing children's meals and snacks
• Laundry
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Grocery shopping
• Running errands
• Light housekeeping
• Vacuuming
• Tidying common areas
• Maintaining organization throughout the home
• Managing household inventory
• Assisting with household projects as needed

• 3+ years of professional in-home childcare experience
• Previous experience with household management duties as a family assistant
• Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
• Must have recent professional infant and newborn experience
• Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
• Have strong professional and personal references
• Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
• Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
• Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
• Are a non-smoker
• Committed to professional, legal pay
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
• Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, TDaP, and COVID-19 booster

The ability to travel would be nice, however, not required

• 2+ weeks of paid time off to coordinate with the families (1 week over Christmas to New Year's and 1 week over Spring Break)
• 5 days of the candidate's choosing
