Job Description:

Cardinal Nannies is seeking a dynamic and reliable full-time placement nanny for a family in Cobourg with one child. We are looking for a caregiver who strikes the perfect balance between being creative, sporty, and playful, while also being able to set boundaries confidently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with feedings, naps, developmental play in a fun, safe and active environment
  • Assist with planning and preparing meals for the child, planning and meal prep family dinners
  • Light housekeeping, laundry and keeping items picked up after the child throughout the day as time permits
  • Travel with family regularly (once every few months) within North America
  • Accompany or be comfortable with family's absence during January and February in Asia

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of professional childcare experience with excellent references and experience working in a daycare setting
  • Minimum Secondary School graduation
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications, ECE background preferred
  • A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle preferred by not required
  • Valid Canadian Passport when travelling with the family
