Job Description:

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, is the world’s leading travel search engine. The company is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania. The role involves building new features and products for affiliates, maintaining and enhancing APIs, supporting integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is hybrid and requires three days a week in the office. Salary ranges from 2700 EUR to 3990 EUR gross monthly, with additional benefits such as yearly bonuses, RSU packages, flexible time off, health insurance, and professional development support.

Job Responsibility:

Build new features and products for our affiliates
Maintain and enhance existing APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Support existing affiliate integrations
Follow KPIs (revenue, sessions, etc.) and be part of the data-driven decision-making process
Locate and eliminate sources of recurring issues.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in Web Development
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Front End technologies: TypeScript, React, Redux, CSS (Sass or Less)
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Back End technologies: Java, Spring, MySQL
Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of software design principles
Strong knowledge of OOP patterns and API design
Experience writing unit and E2E tests
Openness to technical improvements across all layers (UI, backend, SQL, Elastic, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Fluent English communication skills
Skills to debug effectively in a full-stack environment.
