Job Description:

At OpenAI, our Full Stack engineers help power core capabilities that tie front-end experiences with scalable backend systems. We’re hiring across teams including Growth, Ecosystems, Personalization, Search Infrastructure, and Platform Engineering to develop both user-facing features and foundational services that bring them to life. We’re looking for Full Stack Software Engineers who enjoy blending front-end and back-end work to deliver impactful features.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build end-to-end web applications and platform features that enhance ChatGPT experiences
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and infrastructure teams
  • Design robust APIs, scalable services, and engaging UI components
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of systems you build
  • Contribute to team best practices in testing, architecture, and SDLC

Requirements:

  • Have experience with both front-end (React, TypeScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.)
  • Are comfortable owning features from design to deployment
  • Value high-quality code and polished user experiences
