Job Description:

A specialized Digital Innovation Hub within a federal defense organization is seeking Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developers. The successful candidates will support the development, scaling, and sustainment of a cloud-based innovation application designed to modernize internal information flows. Operating within a DevSecOps framework and utilizing Agile methodologies, you will contribute to initiatives focused on transforming legacy workflows and enabling agile, interoperable operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop new features and resolve bugs using TypeScript, focusing on Node.js for backend and Vue.js for frontend requirements
  • Prepare diagrammatic plans and flow charts for complex computer systems to ensure efficient information transfer and processing
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and maintain CI/CD pipelines alongside automated testing to ensure high-availability software solutions
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to translate user stories into technical tasks and participate in daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives
  • Verify program accuracy by preparing sample data and conducting system acceptance test runs
  • Assemble and maintain technical specifications, layouts, and operating instructions to support later modifications and knowledge transfer

Requirements:

  • Proven professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue.js
  • Professional experience using Git for source control and Docker for deployment
  • Strong background in Agile development and DevSecOps frameworks
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and incorporate appropriate software programs to meet business requirements
