Our Edmonton client is seeking a Full Stack .Net Developer to join their Digital Design and Delivery Division for an initial twelve month contract with strong potential for extension up to twenty-four months. You will work within a high-performing, cross-functional team using human-centered design and agile methodologies to build services that are efficient, effective, and user-friendly. This is a primarily remote opportunity that offers the chance to work on diverse projects that directly impact the community while collaborating with a talented group of designers and product owners.
Job Responsibility:
Participate in field research and user interviews to understand the needs of the end user
Lead technical discovery sessions and produce detailed architectural diagrams and documentation
Develop high quality solution designs based on a shared understanding of project requirements
Build and maintain features for exemplar projects to improve the overall digital experience
Identify and resolve functional and non-functional defects to ensure software reliability
Work closely with frontend designers to ensure all solutions follow a consistent look and feel
Advise product owners on technical implementation options to support frequent and iterative delivery
Requirements:
Extensive experience working as a Full Stack Developer on complex software solutions in an agile environment
Proven expertise with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js and backend technologies like C# .Net Core, Node.js, or Python
Strong proficiency in using Git for source control within a collaborative team setting
Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality
Demonstrated knowledge of various database technologies including relational databases and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
