Job Description

Seeking a Full stack Engineer (ReactJS and Java): Rhino, are you there? At WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our Rhinos and our clients.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience building high-quality, performant JavaScript applications
  • Strong and consolidated experience with ReactJS
  • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Protractor, Selenium, or similar
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript packaging and build tools, including NPM, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, or equivalent
  • Experience with server-side JavaScript, particularly Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing and mocking techniques
  • Experience working with Java or other Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages (with willingness to work with Java)
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Akka, Memcached, Apache Storm, Apache Cassandra, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, or similar (conceptual knowledge is sufficient)
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments, preferably AWS (v2)
  • Fluency in English (B2)
  • Availability for remote work in Portugal (requires availability to relocate within Portugal)
