Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from a reputable institution (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 10 years of relevant full-stack software development experience
Frontend expertise: JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience with modern frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
Backend expertise: API design/implementation, ORM concepts and frameworks, database schema design, experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
Deep experience in building highly-available, scalable and performant applications
Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and experience with microservices architecture and containerisation
Participation in or contributions to open-source projects—ideally in the AI/ML domain
Prior startup experience is preferred
Willingness and ability to work onsite ~4-5 days a week at the company’s Sunnyvale, CA office

Job Responsibility

Design robust APIs, architect and implement cloud-based microservices to fulfil those APIs
Build user interfaces on top of those APIs and integrate the APIs into the UI of other products
Rapidly prototype ideas to meet user needs and technical feasibility, then productionise them with well-architected, testable code
Practice test-driven development: build and maintain test suites and frameworks to uphold high code quality
Document and maintain software functionality, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Integrate software components into a cohesive, fully-functional system and ensure the software evolves with new features and scale requirements
