Full Stack Engineer

• Design robust APIs, architect and implement cloud-based microservices to fulfil those APIs
• Build user interfaces on top of those APIs and integrate the APIs into the UI of other products
• Rapidly prototype ideas to meet user needs and technical feasibility, then productionise them with well-architected, testable code
• Practice test-driven development: build and maintain test suites and frameworks to uphold high code quality
• Document and maintain software functionality, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Integrate software components into a cohesive, fully-functional system and ensure the software evolves with new features and scale requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from a reputable institution (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant full-stack software development experience
• Frontend expertise: JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience with modern frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
• Backend expertise: API design/implementation, ORM concepts and frameworks, database schema design, experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
• Deep experience in building highly-available, scalable and performant applications
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and experience with microservices architecture and containerisation
• Participation in or contributions to open-source projects—ideally in the AI/ML domain
• Willingness and ability to work onsite ~4-5 days a week at the company’s Sunnyvale, CA office
