Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and developing responsive, accessible, and performant full stack applications using React.js (frontend) and Java Spring Boot (backend)
  • Building, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS Cloud Services following industry best practices
  • Ensuring Section 508 accessibility compliance and adherence to responsive design standards across devices and browsers
  • Writing optimized, secure, and maintainable code to support high performance and scalability
  • Implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, leading small initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers
  • Conducting code reviews, debugging, and ensuring CI/CD integration and testing quality
  • Leveraging AI tools and automation platforms to improve development efficiency, code quality, and accessibility validation
  • Supporting production environments, performing monitoring, and driving continuous improvement efforts
  • Independently performing complex full stack development activities (mid-career)
  • Leading and contributing to cloud-native, responsive, and accessible application projects
  • Providing technical direction, mentoring, and accessibility guidance within the team
  • Leveraging professional expertise and relationships to influence strategy and drive business results
  • Builds strong working relationships internally and externally to exchange information and collaborate effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience in full stack software development
  • Strong hands-on experience in React.js (frontend) and Java Spring Boot (backend)
  • Proven expertise in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Experience in developing responsive and Section 508-compliant web applications
  • Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to drive initiatives independently

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to or practical experience with AI tools for development, accessibility testing, or automation
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with AWS security, cost optimization, and performance best practices
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA), and performance optimization techniques
