Job Description:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys blending front-end and back-end work to ship end-to-end features on the ChatGPT Apps platform and SDK. You’ll partner closely with Product, Security, Trust & Safety, Research, and other engineers to deliver high-quality developer experiences and expand what ChatGPT Apps can do.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and ship mission-critical features in the ChatGPT Apps SDK and broader platform
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Security, Trust & Safety, Research, and Engineering to design and deliver developer-first experiences
  • Own features end-to-end: from early design and technical direction through implementation, launch, and iteration
  • Build scalable services and APIs, and develop polished UI surfaces that support publishing, discovery, and app capabilities
  • Help set enduring technical direction—shipping foundations that become new product areas over time
  • Contribute to team best practices in testing, architecture, and overall SDLC quality

Requirements:

  • Full-stack engineer comfortable with frontend and backend
  • Experience building developer tools or platforms (SDKs, integrations, open source libraries)
  • Product-oriented with cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to ship quickly without compromising quality, security, or performance
  • Excited to build foundational platform capabilities
