Job Description

Capstone IT is helping our client find a Full Stack Engineer (Back-End Focused) who will design, build, maintain, and improve enterprise applications with a strong emphasis on Java-based back-end development and microservices architecture. This person will develop APIs, integrate systems, support cloud-native applications, collaborate in Agile teams, and occasionally lead projects or mentor other engineers. The role also includes some front-end development using React and helping deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications
  • Build and support microservices and API integrations
  • Develop cloud-native solutions in AWS
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver solutions
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Mentor junior developers and lead projects when needed
  • Contribute to Agile development processes using Jira and Confluence
  • Support front-end development efforts using React when required
  • Ensure seamless integration across applications and systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience in an enterprise environment
  • Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise
  • Experience building microservices
  • REST API development and integration experience
  • AWS cloud experience
  • CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools
  • Experience working in Agile environments
