Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to help build the next generation of video, audio, and image capture capabilities within a digital reporting platform. This role focuses on designing and developing scalable backend services that integrate with Azure OpenAI and Azure Speech services, while securely managing media in the cloud. You will work cross-functionally with product, frontend, cloud, and security teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing AI-powered solutions in a modern Java/Azure environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices supporting video, audio, and image ingestion workflows
  • Integrate with Azure OpenAI and Azure Speech for transcription, text-to-speech, and intelligent data extraction
  • Design and implement secure storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage and related services
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, latency, and reliability for real-time and batch AI processing
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to build and support capture and playback APIs
  • Partner with cloud, security, and governance teams to ensure compliance and data protection standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot backend development
  • 5+ years of experience with React frontend development
  • Strong experience with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including storage and containerized applications
  • Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, speech, or vision APIs)
  • Solid understanding of secure API design, authentication, and access control
  • Experience using GitHub (source control), Jira, and Confluence
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience working with media files (audio, video, image processing) and related APIs
  • Experience with WebSockets or real-time streaming technologies (audio/video)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments
  • Exposure to cloud-native architecture and microservices design patterns
