Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET for backend services and React for frontend development
  • Implement new features and enhancements to existing applications with moderate guidance
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in alignment with engineering best practices and team standards
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with React-based user interfaces
  • Use Claude as a core development tool to accelerate workflows, including code generation, documentation, and code review support
  • Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across backend and frontend systems, leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve speed and accuracy
  • Participate in code reviews by providing and incorporating constructive feedback
  • Write and maintain unit tests to support code quality, reliability, and functionality, including AI-assisted test generation and coverage analysis
  • Contribute to database design, queries, and development using SQL
  • Stay current on relevant technologies, frameworks, and emerging AI/LLM capabilities that support the team's technology stack
  • Provide occasional guidance to junior developers, including sharing effective AI-assisted development practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core and ASP.NET Core
  • Experience with React and related frontend concepts such as hooks and state management
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with SQL and relational database concepts
  • Understanding of web application security principles
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort using Claude as a daily development tool for tasks such as code generation, debugging assistance, and documentation

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts, including Docker
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Java or Spring Boot as a secondary backend language
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture
