Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Citi's Global Trade Platform provides suit of international trade applications catering over 85+ countries worldwide. Trade Services platforms enables Global exporters and Importers to facilitate Trade and innovate their business needs.

Job Responsibility:

Own and Responsible for end-to-end development of the projects/programs assigned
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers working on backend and frontend components
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming
Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts
Allocating work as necessary
Collaborating with stakeholders and working closely with various technology groups & vendor organizations
Drive a standard framework for development processes
Deliver state-of-the-art solutions using new stack development using Agile/DevOps/Micro services/Angular JS
Regular interact with business and operations partners globally
Ensure the right team structure and organization is put in place for the new development unit
Team management (1-2 scrums and each squad having 7-10 people)
Interaction of vendors / staffed model
Work across multiple development teams - offshore / onshore / Vendor teams
Track project deliverable closely

Requirements:

6+ years relevant experience
Management and prioritization skills
Ability to develop working relationships
Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
Methodical, attention to detail
Technical / Functional Proficiency
Architecture & Design: Strong experience designing solutions using microservices architecture
Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture, and CQRS
Familiarity with API gateways (Kong, Apigee) and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
Backend: Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
REST APIs, GraphQL
SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, or similar)
Frontend: Angular (8+) as primary framework
Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
Exposure to React.js
DevOps & Cloud: Kubernetes (deployments, Helm, config maps, secrets, scaling, rolling updates)
Docker (containerization)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, uDeploy, Harness, Tekton)
Cloud-native deployment (AWS EKS / GCP GKE / Azure AKS)
Tools & Practices: Experience in Data engineering technologies
Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Git (GitFlow / trunk-based development)
Unit & integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress)
Monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
Security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security, OWASP)
Experience on Pro *C, C, C++
Experience on trade finance products development
Technology Migration project exposure
Should have good experience on handling multiple teams and project management
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
