Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain high-quality Angular applications
Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
Solid understanding of payments industry including various payment systems and processes
Optimize application performance and scalability
Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology
Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis
Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems
Recommend and develop security measures
Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts

Requirements:

4+ years experience and expertise in component-driven development
3+ years experience and advanced knowledge of Angular framework
Demonstrated ability to create scalable and maintainable app using Micro Front End (MFE) principles
Proven experience with state management solutions (e.g., NgRx, RxJS, Akita, Signals)
Experience in migrating Angular applications between major versions
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
Extensive experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma)
Solid understanding of front-end development best practices and design patterns
Architectural mindset with regards to writing code that is secure, performant and reusable
Experience with frontend debugging techniques
Analytical skills with proactive problem-solving approach
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience working with UX/UI design tools, particularly Figma
Familiarity with ISO 20022 standards and their application in payments messaging
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Contributions to open-source projects
