Job Description:

The Full Motion Video (FMV) Analyst positions at BAE Systems provide employees with hands-on FMV training for all intelligence disciplines, advanced skills certification, and rapid job promotion into instructor, subject matter expert, and management positions. BAE Systems is the industry leader in FMV exploitation, and we are searching for individuals ready to begin an exciting and dynamic intelligence career while supporting a critical global counterterrorism mission.

Job Responsibility:

  • Learn FMV tradecraft through a unique three-week formal training course, followed by a robust on-the-job training program which provides candidates who may be new to motion GEOINT specialized instruction in FMV tradecraft, exploitation tools, and specific cultural familiarization
  • Produce imagery-derived graphic products and reports and publish for distribution
  • Compile intelligence materials for use in briefings to high-level government personnel
  • Input data accurately, exploit FMV collected by sensors on ISR platforms, apply all-source information to FMV imagery analysis, and use an electronic light table to exploit NTM imagery

Requirements:

  • 5 years intelligence analysis experience, to include 3 years of FMV or imagery analysis experience
  • OR 3 years of FMV or imagery analysis experience AND an associate/bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Formal Intelligence school course (typically 2+ months in duration, full time, resulting in an Intelligence MOS from the military (e.g. All-Source, IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, etc.))
  • Must be capable of working a rotating shift schedule, to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • During high-tempo operations, maintain situational awareness and relay intelligence in real time
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and solve routine tasks
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Power Point
  • Able to prepare and present briefings with creation/use of visual displays
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills
  • Type 32 words per minute without looking at the keyboard at 90% accuracy
  • Familiarity with FMV operations and the TCPED process
  • Candidates must accurately discern red, green, blue, and yellow colors on a video screen
  • Must successfully complete the customer FMV training course or have do so in the last year
  • Must attain FMV analyst qualifications and maintain required minimum skill level in each
  • Must Be Able To Obtain Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance
  • Must Currently Possess Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • U.S. Person Required

Nice to have:

  • Practical experience using MAAS, NES, RemoteView, SOCET GXP, ArcGIS, IEC
  • Background in counterterrorism analysis
  • Previous experience with FMV operations and the TCPED process
  • Previous FMV Instructor duty or training assignments
  • GPC Program certifications
  • Experience exploiting video footage and has a basic understanding of sensor capabilities
  • Experience exploiting NTM with a basic understanding of imagery products
  • Experience building target packets or similar intelligence products

  • Create and provide metadata to support structured observations in support of the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives
  • Capable of simultaneously being able to view, exploit, record and touch type (minimum of 40 words/minute) live FMV exploitation comments in support of operational FMV missions
  • Identify targets and target-related activities by understanding Order of Battle for mission related geolocations
