Job Description

Join our team as a Full Cycle Contingent Recruiter supporting critical nurse hiring for both downtown hospitals and regional facilities. You’ll play a hands-on role in sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates and hiring leaders through the full recruitment process.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a requisition load of 30–40 open roles in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Partner directly with hiring leaders in inpatient nursing across downtown hospitals and/or regional sites
  • Conduct intake sessions to gather requirements, define role priorities, and establish ideal candidate profiles
  • Source candidates using a mix of passive and active strategies, maximizing tools and technologies to identify top clinical talent
  • Review resumes and applications ('paper' screens)
  • Conduct initial phone screenings
  • Prepare and submit candidate presentations for hiring leader review
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics between candidates and leaders
  • Extend offers, deliver timely feedback, and present compensation details
  • Advise managers on pay recommendations, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation
  • Track and submit all relevant documents and workflow updates in the applicant tracking system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of direct experience
  • 3–5 years of relevant, recent experience as a clinical recruiter in a matrixed healthcare organization (preference for current work in clinical recruiting within the last 2 years)
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures and experience negotiating and extending offers for both internal and external hires
  • Understanding of key HR regulations and laws (e.g., FLSA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA)
  • Proficiency in passive sourcing and candidate engagement using multiple channels and technologies
  • Track record of successfully implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives in recruiting
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and applicant tracking systems
  • Adept at managing multiple requisitions while maintaining a positive candidate and leader experience
