Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Charge Property Accountant to join a fast-paced, mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple housing programs and grants funded by City, County, State, Federal, and private sources. The accounting team supports over $42 million in annual revenue, with Real Estate generating approximately $6 million annually. This position works closely with a team of accounting professionals and requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and contribute across all aspects of property and fund accounting. Job Responsibility:

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Perform accounting using Yardi Voyager and Sage Intacct
  • Prepare and analyze: Budget reports
  • Income and expense statements
  • Balance sheets
  • Financial projections and variance analysis
  • Complete bank and account reconciliations
  • Manage period-end closings
  • Prepare and track invoicing and follow-up
  • Support audits, compliance, and grant reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams across real estate and nonprofit programs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in full charge property or fund accounting
  • Tax Credit Reporting experience (required)
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit and/or real estate accounting
  • Proficiency with Yardi Voyager and Sage Intacct
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads with accuracy
