Job Description:

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is in need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to come in and help clean up and get their books up to date from the past 6-9 months! This is a contract position, which could be about 2-3 months to help get them on track, and located near the Southwest side of Tucson, near the Kino Ball Park and the freeway. This could be done on a full-time basis, or part-time, depending on your availability and schedule.

Job Responsibility:

Organize and update financial records to address an 8-10 month backlog
Accurately code transactions to the appropriate chart of accounts
Perform detailed bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records
Ensure compliance with standard accounting practices and procedures
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Prepare reports summarizing financial activities as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and general bookkeeping practices
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Expertise in performing bank reconciliations and coding transactions
Familiarity with maintaining and updating charts of accounts
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
