We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position plays a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail to support efficient daily operations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and reports for internal use
Manage remote deposits and scanning of financial documents to streamline workflows
Assist with tax reporting and filing at year-end to ensure compliance with regulations
Perform audits and verify adherence to standard accounting practices
Maintain and update insurance information, including auto, building, and contents databases
Support human resource functions, particularly related to employee benefits
Organize and maintain member data to ensure smooth administrative operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all financial operations
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
