Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Process payroll for multiple states on a bi-weekly basis, including reviewing and auditing timesheets for accuracy and timely submission
• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure proper handling of file uploads and deposits
• Manage accounts payable tasks, including expense allocation and employee reimbursement processing
• Collaborate with the team to complete month-end closing activities, payroll tax filings, and annual audits
• Generate client invoices, process cash receipts, and handle bank deposits efficiently
• Perform monthly bank account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Configure and maintain client and project accounts within the accounting software
• Work on assigned special projects to support organizational goals and improve financial processes

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience applying accounting principles and practices
• Proven experience in processing payroll, including multi-state payroll
• Strong communication skills to write reports, correspond professionally, and present information effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with attention to detail
• Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Familiarity with accounting software such as ADP Workforce Now and Deltek Vision
