We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This position is ideal for someone who can manage accounting activities independently, maintain accurate records, and keep payables, receivables, and reconciliations on track. The right candidate will bring strong QuickBooks knowledge and a careful, organized approach to bookkeeping.
Job Responsibility
Oversee the full bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are complete, current, and accurate
Process vendor invoices and payments while maintaining organized accounts payable documentation
Prepare and track customer billing, post incoming payments, and monitor outstanding balances within accounts receivable
Record journal entries to support routine accounting activity and period-end accuracy
Reconcile bank accounts regularly and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain the general ledger and assist in producing internal financial reports as needed
Use QuickBooks to enter, review, and manage accounting data efficiently
Support cleanup or updates to accounting records and procedures when operational changes require adjustments
Requirements
Experience handling full charge bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal supervision
Proficiency using QuickBooks for daily accounting and recordkeeping tasks
Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entry preparation
Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and on schedule
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data entry
Organized time-management skills suited to a part-time accounting role
Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with financial information
