We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Jericho, New York. Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage full charge bookkeeping responsibilities, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while ensuring all entries are accurate and timely
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are addressed
Handle intercompany accounting processes and ensure proper allocation across multiple entities
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close procedures
Monitor and analyze financial data to produce reliable reports for management
Utilize QuickBooks to streamline accounting processes and manage financial information efficiently
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Requirements:
Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping, preferably in a multi-entity environment
Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Expertise in bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Solid knowledge of intercompany accounting and journal entries
Ability to meet deadlines and manage month-end close procedures effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with accounting standards and best practices
