We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana on a PART-TIME basis. In this role, you will assist with various projects and comprehensive bookkeeping operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. This is a long-term contract position ideal for individuals with expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and QuickBooks.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers to ensure accurate financial reporting
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions
Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and organize financial data effectively
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation for organizational planning
Conduct audits to identify and resolve accounting irregularities
Provide support during tax preparation and filing processes
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Familiarity with preparing financial statements and reports
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams
