Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date
• Prepare and file sales tax reports in compliance with local and state regulations
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial data and generate reports as needed
• Monitor and track financial transactions to ensure proper documentation and categorization
• Resolve discrepancies in accounts by investigating and correcting errors promptly
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review
• Maintain organized and secure records of financial activities and transactions
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and account inquiries
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with established financial procedures

• Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping, including managing AP and AR
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software
• Strong knowledge of bank and credit card reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with sales tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Effective communication skills for vendor and client interactions
• Prior experience in a Contract to permanent position is a plus
