A growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support a portfolio of small business clients across industries such as real estate, construction, restaurants, and professional services. This role offers variety, client interaction, and ownership over the full accounting cycle. The firm operates in a values-driven, faith-based environment. Job Responsibility:
Managing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple small business clients
Serving as a primary point of contact and communicating directly with clients
Reviewing work and overseeing junior bookkeeping staff
Researching and resolving account discrepancies
Preparing and reviewing financial statements
Processing payroll and related payroll tax filings
Preparing and filing sales and use tax reports
Assisting with tax planning and light tax preparation
Supporting corporate and entity-level tax compliance
Working within QuickBooks and Xero
tax work completed in ProConnect
Requirements:
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
Solid understanding of corporate tax concepts
Prior experience in public accounting preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Xero (required)
Experience supporting small businesses, particularly in real estate, construction, or hospitality, is a plus
