We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client in Columbus, Ohio. This contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a solid background in accounting practices. The role involves managing high-volume transactions and assisting in payroll preparation while collaborating closely with a small team.
Job Responsibility:
Process and manage accounts payable, handling up to 250 manual invoices weekly during peak seasons
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
Oversee accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely collections and accurate reporting
Compile and organize payroll data using spreadsheets for efficient processing
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and monitor financial records effectively
Collaborate with a teammate to ensure seamless accounting operations
Apply advanced Excel skills to analyze and manage financial data
Maintain a business casual demeanor while working onsite with free parking available
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial transactions and records
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Expertise in bank reconciliations and journal entry preparation
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Ability to handle high-volume invoice processing efficiently
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
