We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage the full bookkeeping cycle with accuracy, maintain organized financial records, and contribute to smooth month-end processes. The role calls for strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, along with confidence in handling both payables and receivables in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the complete bookkeeping function, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and maintained in a timely manner
Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor outstanding obligations to keep accounts payable current
Generate customer invoices, apply incoming payments, and follow up on open balances to support healthy accounts receivable activity
Reconcile bank and financial accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate cash reporting
Maintain and update records in QuickBooks, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation across all accounting entries
Assist with month-end closing tasks by preparing reports, reviewing account activity, and resolving posting issues as needed
Organize financial documentation and support internal accounting processes with consistent attention to detail
Requirements:
Proven experience performing full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-oriented business environment
Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks for daily accounting and financial recordkeeping tasks
Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment coordination
Experience managing accounts receivable, including billing, cash application, and balance tracking
Strong background in completing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy
Solid understanding of general bookkeeping principles and financial documentation practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
