Our client is hiring a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for an ongoing temp-to-hire opening. This is a great opportunity for a bookkeeping professional who enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting process and working in a role with variety and responsibility. The right person will be comfortable handling multiple accounting functions, staying organized, and ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.
Job Responsibility
Oversee daily bookkeeping activities from transaction entry through reconciliation
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment posting
Maintain the general ledger and assist with journal entries
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and investigate discrepancies
Support payroll, expense tracking, and month-end closing tasks
Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate supporting documentation
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations
Assist with process improvements and additional accounting support as needed
Requirements
Experience in bookkeeping or accounting support, preferably in a full-charge capacity
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and financial recordkeeping
Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
QuickBooks or similar software experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Dependable, organized, and comfortable managing deadlines
