We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of expertise in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong ability to handle all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end processes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, with meticulous attention to detail
Utilize QuickBooks software to accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
Prepare and file tax forms in compliance with regulations and deadlines
Execute bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in account balances
Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and precise reporting
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes
Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Provide support for financial audits and reviews as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping roles
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience with bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures
Familiarity with preparing and filing tax forms
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
Strong attention to accuracy and detail in all financial tasks
