We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will manage financial operations for a dynamic construction company with multiple entities and a strong team-oriented culture. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in QuickBooks Contractor Edition and a proven ability to handle complex accounting tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Manage cash flow and billing operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain detailed records of financial transactions across multiple entities
Utilize QuickBooks Contractor Edition to streamline accounting processes and ensure compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with an assistant to efficiently manage day-to-day financial operations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by management
Monitor and analyze company budgets to identify opportunities for cost optimization
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
Support the team in maintaining a positive and productive work environment
Assist in preparing for audits and other financial reviews as required
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping, preferably within the construction industry
Proficiency in QuickBooks Contractor Edition and advanced knowledge of accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Proven ability to manage cash flow and oversee billing operations effectively
Experience handling multi-entity accounting and financial reporting
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
