We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Ontario, California. This role requires an experienced individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting operations, including accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions
Perform accounts receivable reconciliations and oversee payment processing
Complete detailed bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain organized financial accounts
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial data efficiently
Collaborate with the accounting manager to address outstanding tasks and meet deadlines
Assist with vendor account management, including processing bills and credit card transactions
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Support the team in resolving discrepancies in financial records
Provide timely updates and reports to the finance team
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping
Proficiency in QuickBooks software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience with journal entries and bank reconciliation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
Effective communication skills for team collaboration
