We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in San Lorenzo, CA. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to manage a wide range of accounting tasks while contributing to the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of bookkeeping principles and extensive experience in handling end-to-end accounting processes.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records
Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and maintain financial data effectively
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger to ensure proper accounting practices
Conduct month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Monitor and reconcile account balances to ensure compliance with financial standards
Generate financial statements and reports to assist management in decision-making
Address discrepancies in financial records and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
Proven ability to handle month-end close processes independently
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
