We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and relaxed office environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations and maintaining accurate records for a small yet well-established company.
Job Responsibility:
Handle all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain detailed financial records
Execute payroll processing using Paychex software for approximately 20 employees
Prepare and file quarterly and monthly tax reports, including B& O taxes
Maintain and update general ledger accounts, including journal entries and adjustments
Utilize QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise software efficiently to manage accounting tasks
Collaborate with the team to provide insights into financial performance and suggest improvements
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Support the office with additional administrative or financial duties as needed
Work closely with the owner and other team members to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is required
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Familiarity with filing tax reports, including B& O taxes, is preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and management
