We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of a growing organization in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage core bookkeeping functions, maintain accurate records, and keep accounting processes running smoothly. The successful candidate will bring strong QuickBooks experience and a dependable approach to handling payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on schedule
Process vendor invoices and payments while maintaining organized accounts payable records
Oversee customer billing and collections activities to keep accounts receivable current
Reconcile bank and financial accounts regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation for routine accounting activity
Prepare financial reports and account summaries to help leadership monitor business performance
Review bookkeeping records for completeness and accuracy, making corrections when needed
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support efficient financial workflows and consistent recordkeeping
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience performing full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused setting
Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence using accounting software for daily bookkeeping tasks
Hands-on experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Strong background in completing bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial record maintenance, and transaction posting
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to organize multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
