We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role requires strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices, ensuring accurate financial management.
Job Responsibility:
Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, bank transactions, and cash or credit card payments
Ensure the timely preparation of weekly and monthly accounts payable and bank reports
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, purchasing activities, and inventory records on a monthly basis
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records to support financial operations
Collaborate with purchasing and service departments to oversee accounting and purchasing transactions
Manage the distribution and handling of incoming mail to facilitate smooth operations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
At least 7 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Expertise in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
