Our client is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper for an ongoing temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is responsible for overseeing the full scope of day-to-day bookkeeping functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounting processes independently.
Job Responsibility
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
Prepare and issue invoices, post payments, and track outstanding receivables
Process payroll or support payroll-related entries as needed
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and account balances
Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
Support audits, reporting requests, and special accounting projects
Requirements
Previous full-charge bookkeeping or strong bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems preferred
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
