Our client in Langhorne, PA is seeking a driven, take-charge Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract basis. This position has the potential to become a full time position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership over all aspects of the accounting cycle. Job Responsibility:
Manage the full cycle of accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
Process payroll using ADP and ensure accuracy of employee records and reporting
Maintain and update financial data within QuickBooks Online and ADP
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
Prepare, review, and file sales tax, business taxes, and other required government reporting
Assist with audits, budget preparation, and financial forecasting as needed
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support business decisions
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, and ADP payroll systems
Hands-on, take-initiative attitude with the ability to work independently
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Minimum of 2 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
Nice to have:
5+ years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
Experience in the service or construction industry is a plus
