We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper (15-20 hrs/week) to take ownership of accounting and administrative tasks for our team. This role demands a strong understanding of financial processes, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks software. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Job Responsibility:
Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and detailed reports for management review
Maintain and update the general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure financial records are current
Handle tax filings and collaborate with external accountants to meet compliance requirements
Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and assist in the preparation of budgets
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management
Oversee administrative operations related to financial processes and reporting
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Familiarity with tax filing procedures and regulatory compliance
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy
Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
