We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a business based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This position is ideal for someone who can independently manage core accounting activities, maintain organized records, and help keep the office running efficiently. The right candidate will bring strong QuickBooks experience, sound judgment, and the ability to handle both bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities with accuracy.
Job Responsibility
Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, including recording financial activity and maintaining accurate general ledger data
Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor outgoing transactions to keep accounts payable current
Prepare customer invoices, post incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable collections
Reconcile bank statements and internal records on a regular basis to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
Maintain organized financial documentation and support routine office administrative tasks as needed
Use QuickBooks to manage daily accounting entries, track account activity, and produce standard financial records
Assist with month-end close activities by reviewing transactions and confirming account balances are properly recorded
Requirements
Demonstrated experience performing full charge bookkeeping functions with a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in QuickBooks for daily accounting and financial record maintenance
Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment coordination
Working knowledge of accounts receivable procedures, including billing and payment posting
Experience completing bank reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an office environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills and a dependable, detail-focused work style
