We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in North Miami, Florida. This position is suited for someone who can oversee the full accounting cycle, maintain accurate records, and support timely reporting across payables, receivables, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate brings strong QuickBooks experience, sound bookkeeping judgment, and the ability to keep financial processes organized and dependable. This position will support the startup of a growing construction company. This is AN ONSITE ROLE IN North Miami of Biscayne Blvd.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are current, accurate, and properly documented
Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and maintain organized supplier records to support smooth accounts payable operations
Monitor incoming payments, issue customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances to keep accounts receivable on track
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis, researching discrepancies and resolving issues promptly
Maintain accounting activity in QuickBooks, including accurate entry of transactions and consistent upkeep of the general ledger
Support expense tracking and reimbursement workflows, including the use of Concur Expense where applicable
Assist with job or project cost tracking, including construction-related cost categories and supporting documentation
Prepare routine financial summaries and provide bookkeeping support that helps leadership review business performance
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping or closely related accounting role
Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks, including experience working in QuickBooks Desktop
Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Experience with Vendor Management, Specifically with tracking CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE (COI) preferred
Ability to maintain detailed vendor files and organize financial records with a high degree of accuracy
Experience supporting expense management procedures and processing related documentation
BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED
Familiarity with construction cost tracking or project-based accounting is preferred
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
Nice to have:
Experience with Vendor Management, Specifically with tracking CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE (COI)
Familiarity with construction cost tracking or project-based accounting
