Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Timnath, Colorado. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to manage critical financial functions while contributing to the success of our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial analysis, ensuring our accounting processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Oversee payroll processing, reconcile bank accounts, and manage company credit card transactions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures to maintain accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with external CPAs to support audits and tax preparation activities
  • Update and maintain accounting policies and procedures to reflect current standards and practices
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning
  • Provide management with reports and insights for special projects and decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Expertise in bank reconciliations and accrual accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external auditors
