Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, including data entry and transaction processing
• Oversee accounts payable by recording expenses, preparing payments, and managing account sweeps
• Handle accounts receivable by properly recording deposits and monitoring incoming payments
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank statements, credit card transactions, cash, and checks
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audit preparation
• Support budgeting efforts and contribute to financial planning activities
• Organize and maintain documentation using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Compile and report on multiple financial accounts as requested
• Participate in union-related events, community service projects, and volunteer efforts within the organization

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial record management
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with bookkeeping in union, nonprofit, or construction environments preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
